The Fort Bragg population skews young (pediatrics, obstetrics), includes a large retiree cohort (internal medicine, cardiology), and faces the stresses that make behavioral health support important.

Each of these specialties has its own referral logic under TRICARE, and knowing those differences before you search can save time and prevent unexpected costs. The following sections walk through the four categories where military families most often ask questions.
