Where the data comes from
Listings are built from the public NPPES National Provider Identifier (NPI) registry and from provider self-submissions, never from other directories. Providers can claim their listing at no cost to manage their photo, hours, bio, accepted insurance, and accepting-new-patients status. A claimed listing whose owner's identity has been confirmed against the NPI registry carries a "Verified Owner" badge: that badge confirms who manages the listing, not clinical credentials and not insurance-network participation. The "Accepts TRICARE" badge is self-attested by the provider: it appears when a claimed listing's owner includes TRICARE in their accepted-insurance selection, and it is shown with the date the provider last confirmed that selection. ProviderQuoHealth does not verify TRICARE network participation. Networks change, so patients should confirm with the practice and with their regional TRICARE contractor before booking.
